Be aware the scam. Before buy please ask for price. Don't even pass this shop because they forced you go inside .last week I've been here I bought 300g Halva, guy from Iran charging me £16.80 .absolutely disappointed. You can get Halva from normal shop or Asian shop cost you £3 .
SCAM SCAM SCAM Be aware !!!!! Please do not enter this shop believe me the second you get in that’s it , you can’t leave and they push you to test the samples also they force you to buy more than what you want , I asked for the smallest piece but the guy got a technic to cut you a big piece and try hide it with his hand so you can’t see how much he cuts !!!£40 for a small piece we got charged !! Which you get exactly same thing at the Turkish shop for £4 . . Those two guys are professionally trained to trap you and scam you without knowing and you will be felling discriminated with their attitude please don’t ruin your day buy going in to this place as they did do us !!!! Shame on you and your service scammers The Head office should be aware what’s going on with this specific shop at the Camden Town .
Nice vegan halva! The guy said it's without sugar which I highly doubt, too sweet to be true! Definitely ask the price before.you buy. The people there try to scam you, there are no price tags anywhere to be seen and suddenly when the time to pay comes it is super expensive. Just for two small pieces I paid 35 pounds, and it is not even organic!!!!. The guy never mentioned the price until the end, but in general very good and friendly service and workers. Very nice tasty halva but super so expensive. You can find good halva in other places in much lower price.
Very yummy draw you in with Samples and makes you feel bad not to buy anything then you find out the minimum Order is about £18! For a 300g! Then he cut more so mine was £22 outrageously priced would be good if they dropped there prices and let you choose how much you want
We sampled vegan gluten free halva, super tasty! However, you can only buy large portions, and we didn’t want that much so they didn’t let us buy any. I understand they don’t like to sell smaller portions because it can crack/crumble, but they didn’t get any of our business due to to this.
While this place does offer tasty vegan halva, the whole experience felt sketchy/scamy. My friend decided to buy some halva after sampling a few and asked for a very small slice. The woman cut a very very large slice after my friend asked for a smaller piece and ignored my friend when she asked the shopkeeper to cut the piece smaller. My friend was very gracious and just paid the £25 GBP for the very large slice, but she shouldn’t have been put in that situation by the staff. I’m so embarrassed that I brought my friend here and have felt really bad about this because it was upsetting to my friend. I’ll never step foot in here again because of this. There are other places that offer vegan halva that have better ethics.
Nice welcome and good food, but we were very surprised to pay 35€ for a slice of cake. We didn’t ask for so much, it felt like a tourist trap. The cake is good though
Really yummy candy, but ask the price before you buy it, because it's really expensive!
Never, never, never go here but if you do then you'll understand why.
The lady was so friendly and let us try whichever flavours we wanted. Very helpful. Not to mention the halva is DELICIOUS!
