Came in for a few drinks Sunday evening and was drawn in by the live music that flooded the streets outside. The inside of the bar is big and spacious, quite a few tables and a big stage for the performer. The drinks are a very reasonable price and cocktails were well made and super tasty! The music was fun and lively - only reason for not giving 5* is because the performer wasn’t to our taste, but still a great night out! Would come back.
Very disappointed. The bouncer looked at my shies with condescension and said I cannot enter the bar. What an arrogant attitude! Yuck.Service: 1/5
In a busy street of bars, we went in here. It was jumping, band was good. Drink was dear compared to other places we had been. But good craic and great atmosphere. Deffo go back.Atmosphere: 5/5
Really enjoyed a couple of pints in here while listening to some great live music. Fast and friendly service and very reasonable prices for a location that is right in the middle of the action of Mathew Street. Nice that the musicians play in front of a large screen showing Liverpool and the Beatles Another great visit and pleased that its still awesome.
I am taking the time to leave a review about the appalling service we received by a female member of bar staff. When my husband ordered drinks for us and our friends when he asked for a pint of Guinness she gave him 2 half’s when he politely asked her could she change it, she refused, when he said ‘that wasn’t good enough’, she said ‘what are you going to do about it’ and when my husband asked to speak to the manager she gave him the middle finger. Manager came and said nothing, no apology for disgusting bar staff behaviour and simply handed over the requested pint of Guinness. We know lots of people go to Sargent Peppers, especially from outside of the city- this type of service would leave an awful impression of the city and the service we provide. We will NOT be going back and will be recommending others don’t go either, if they want to receive any kind of acceptable customer service. If bar staff don’t want to serve customers- get another job and give the job to those who would do a good job.
Well what can I say but a huge big Thank You to the staff at Sgt Peppers. I lost my new iPhone and was so upset. It had fell in the loo. I emailed and instantly got a reply to say a member of staff found it, cleaned it and kept it safe for me. A great pub, fantastic atmosphere and truly lovely honest staff xxFood: 5/5
A great night on a visit to Liverpool with a group of girls. Live music was fab and we were able to have a dance. Choice of cocktails was great and we sampled plenty between us! You have to be quick to get a table as fills up fast at night.
Loved it in here. Great bar for live music. One of the best bars around Matthew Street.

Great music, nice drinks, but the toilets were horrible. Several of the toilets were blocked, or had no toilet paper in them, the smell was very unpleasant.Service: 5/5
