Nice indoor and outdoor seating area…Extremely long wait wait for food…waited over 30 mins for my tagliatelle, the waiter said this is pretty standard as they have a small kitchen. Giving it 3 starts as I enjoyed the food just was not very happy with the service particularly if you are not there for the bottomless.
Last month the girls and I decided it was time for another bottomless brunch. So we exchanged dates and figured out it would be a month from then until we were all free to meet up! We had to find somewhere that was big enough to suit a large group as well as having a bottomless brunch that could start at 4 pm not an easy task I assure you. I’d had Serata Hall on my list for the past year and I knew it was time had a great booking process after changing the number multiple times due to dropouts. No deposit was required either which made for stress free booking. when we arrived we were advised to order ASAP as the 4 to 6 pm sitting was due to be very busy and if we didn’t order quickly would be sure to be waiting awhile for food. As instructed we did and we ordered the following : slow beef rigatoni, truffle tagliatelle , truffle mushroom toast , rockstar margarita and a normal margarita. The rigatoni was beautifully cooked and tasted lovely , likewise the truffle pasta. The rockstar margarita made me jealous I had only got a normal normal one despite not liking rocket or tomato’s ! This says a lot about how good it tasted. The truffle toast was nice but quite meh , not seasoned the best tasted more creamy than truffle. Onto the drinks , key for bottomless is the ability to be timely with the drinks and here they did not fault. Upon arrival our table was given 2 bottles of bubbles and little sets to create our own cocktail as well as a bowl of rum punch , whenever the staff saw us running dry they came and brought fresh ones straight away. Think the idea of making the Prosecco cocktails is great but in the end you don’t really get round to it because it’s a bit of an effort so stick with the bubbles on their own which is still lovely , but the rum punch was great and a personal fave ! Price : Overall considering the service I understand the £30 per head for bottomless drinks element as they give you your moneys worth, and the food is nice and decently priced so I feel it’s very fair. Lovely aesthetically pleasing place too and great atmosphere. Slap bang next to old street station so very easy to get to. I would visit again happily !
I’d normally give less stars, but I have faith it’ll get better Please stop trying so hard and just do simple food! I ordered truffle scrambled eggs hoping it’d just be pretty standard. I was so confused. Way too many flavours going on. I can still taste the truffle oil. Eggs were super greasy and over cooked as well. My eggs were on a bed of lettuce...why? Mayo on the bread? Fried crispy onions? A lukewarm mess, by the time it reaches you. Just put some ‘normal’ items on the menu, but do them well. Eggs cooked in butter with salt & pepper on a good sourdough bread - easy. I couldn’t even eat this and wasted £11-12. Coffee was alright, really greats space and atmosphere as a whole. Especially early in the morning.
The place feels like it was designed by an Instagram filter, so if that's what you're looking for then you'll love it, the food was pretty good, the vegan chicken was OK, not very chicken like tbh, I've had better, but the vegan cauliflower arancini was delicious! We did the bottomless brunch, and it was pretty good, nice collection of options.
Had a very enjoyable bottomless brunch here. The food was very tasty, and I especially liked the idea with the prosecco cocktail kit at the table. It meant there was something for everyone. The rum punch wasn't to my liking, but that's just personal preference. Good location and good venue.
A memorable experience, for all the wrong reasons. Went for a team 8am breakfast only to be told after some pretty dreadful coffee that the chef had only just turned up and the wait for food would be 20mins bearing in mind the place was empty. 40 mins later, a red smoothie not ordered by us turned up, only to reappear minutes later in seemingly just poured into a bowl with granola see picture. Bacon was edible but I had to leave the rest of my breakfast as was terrible. Only saving grace was that they took 20% and service charge off the bill, however only after we complained. Situation could have been saved had they used initiative and offer free Pastries / drinks expect the "fresh" orange juice, could write a chapter on that alone. A comical, awful experience. Definitely one to avoid.
Great service, very polite staff and great food. I had the scrabbled eggs on sourdough as brunch and it was tasty. And my cocktail was an espresso martini which was my first time trying but liked it.
Loved this place and the vibe, they open til late past 11pm and serve unlimited coffee during breakfast time. They also serve delicious hot food, I had the fat wedges!
Okay this spot is such a vibe! Eddy our server was an absolute GEM! Make sure to ask for him! That’s him in the photo. ; The Bloody Mary’s were the best I’ve had in London. Food was so yummy. Ambiance was perfection! I’m definitely coming back for dinner! So happy we stopped by for Sunday brunch.
Decent venue and the bar staff are very friendly. However, whichever person on the management team decided that the bar staff should discretely add service on to drinks you order at the bar without an option to take it off unless you query why the price seems too much needs to give their head a shake. Update after response: I appreciate the apology but it looks like others have raised this issue at various points over the last few months. Everyone in my group had service added to their payment when ordering from the bar. Service may not be automatically added on the till but it's clearly company policy or an agreement between all the staff to add service onto every bar order without notifying the customer.
