I’m not the type to leave negative reviews, especially having been to this place for about 2-3 years now. The staff do their services great I’m always getting shellac extensions. My only issue was during my booking today when another female was getting her nails done, there was an older man late 30s, mid 40s doing her service. Now, he was making really uncomfortable conversation with her saying things like ‘do you live alone’ or ‘do you have a boyfriend’ ‘haha you can be my girlfriend, I’m single’, ‘if I was your boyfriend, I’d pay for everything, you’re so pretty’. I was absolutely shocked that none of the other staff members had stopped him at any point. The woman getting her nails done was clearly uncomfortable, talking to her friend to stop the conversation with him. Of course the man couldn’t take a hint and was like ‘haha what’s she saying now’. A nail salon is a place mainly servicing women, if he continues to work there, then I’m sorry but I won’t be returning, I was absolutely shocked. I’d like to reiterate that this place is very talented regarding nails, but the staff, that old man in particular is vile and disgusting . I’m usually a massive advocate for getting your nails done in this place, however whilst that man still works there, I’d honestly say avoid. In short, great nails however there’s a disgusting old man that works there who gives off predator vibes staff said nothing to stop him. I hope the girl got home safe.Services: Pedicure

DO NOT GO HERE. UNSAFE FOR WOMAN. I always used to go to this place.. recently I felt the male staff were slightly unprofessional and made me uncomfortable creepy. Mostly I brush it off as usually the place is filled with woman and due to that I feel safe. Tonight I had an apt booked for 8.15pm .. I arrived and there is two male staff doing nails with 2 ladies. I sit in the pedicure footpath for half an hour watching netflix. Both the ladies get up to leave and the male staff start looking at me funny and talking different. Out of turn, never before acting like this.. 'you can stay over tonight with him', 'where do you live', 'You live nearby'.. ' do you live alone?' I thought HELL NO called my mum grabbed my stuff and left... so so ashamed of these guys .. I used to always use that nail salon.. I wondered if I over reacted but I checked over reviews and I made the right choice.

I got ombré on my nails last week and I will never come back. The nails turned out fine visually, but the place is SO DIRTY and I got an infection on my thumbnail!! All their work benches are COVERED in nails and dust from previous clients. They don’t lay down a towel on the bench to cover it up, but instead just put a towel on their own laps, so you have to lean on the nail cut offs from strangers. The tools are NOT CLEAN. They all sit in this little container on the work bench, and none of them are in sealed packages, meaning they are not sterilised between clients. At one point my technician knocked over all the tools so they went spilling out across the dirty bench, and he just shoved them all back in and kept working. My thumbnail immediately flared up the moment I left the salon. It went swollen and red, and was extremely painful. I had to apply antiseptic cream for three days and it’s still not totally healed. I always get my nails done and I’ve never had an infection before now. I’ll never ever come back to this place. It’s so dirty.Services: Acrylic nails

Gel manicure is not always done properly. Sometimes they look good sometimes they don’t. There is no music in the background. It’s missing that saloon atmosphere and the shop is always dirty. I’m sorry to say this but it’s the truth.Service: Gel manicures

DO NOT GO HERE. I’ve been getting my nails done here for a while, and I will say the women there do an amazing job, HOWEVER after going the other day, a man did my nails and he made me feel so uncomfortable, I will never be going again. He asked me disgusting and inappropriate questions, asked to take pictures of my “tattoos” then tried to touch my stomach. He begged me to take photos of my leg tattoos. It was a really awful and uncomfortable position to be in. I can’t say enough, do not go, and if you do ask to only be seen by one of the women. Because I’ve heard of him doing this to other women.Service: Manicure

1 star for very poor customer service received today which is a shame as previous visits service were good. I had an appt for 2.30pm but called to say if it was possible to come early around 1.30pm for my appt and the guy on the phone agreed that he is free. When I got there after 3mins he said that I would have to wait 30mins. He rudely responded with 'it takes time' to my response of 'you said you would be free in 5 mins on the phone'. His tone was rude, Ive never seen this worker here before and I will not be returning due to inconveniencing me and blatantly lying to me saying he was free WHEN HE WAS NOT. 0 star if I could.

I have had the opportunity to have had many pedicures at sensational Nail.She was an amazing personality. She is very personable and always tries to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I am there.

I’ve never had a chip on my shellac when I have got my nails done at Sensational Nails. Great value and service!
