Sendean communicated very clearly with me, from the moment I left the camera with them, to the quote, to the final collection. I found their customer service was exceptional, and the work they did on the camera was second to none.

These guys repaired a Fujifilm 90mm 1:5.6 EBC Fujinon SWD lens for GX617 that had been stored for around 15 or 20 years in an outside shed ! Once digital arrived I never thought I'd use it again, how wrong was that, anyway, it was in a bit of mess, I tried an outfit in Germany who told me it was beyond repair, Sendean not only got it working beautifully, it looked like new. A tad expensive for me as one off payment so they kindly let me pay it off over a good number of months. I used Sendean when I worked in London as a pro photographer, that was 38 years ago, they're still delivering a first class service. Thanks.

Sendean Cameras - St. Cross Street, Holborn I first contacted Sendean Cameras on the 26th of March regarding an issue with my newly acquired Nikon D3500 camera. The initial problem was that the camera was not reading/recognising any SD cards. When this issue first occurred, I was worried as I had a few shoots in the coming weeks and months, so the need to get the issue fixed was a priority. Due to the global pandemic, Sendean Cameras store in St. Cross Street, Holborn was closed, however mail orders were being accepted. I received instructions stating me to send my camera to an address in Brentwood, Essex. At first, I was reluctant to send my camera to an address in Brentwood, Essex, but having a look at Sendean Cameras google reviews I was reassured. I dispatched my equipment via UPS next day delivery on the 29th of March and on the 31st of March, I received an email stating that my equipment had been received. Also on the 31st of March, I received an email from Tegan, a technician at Sendean Cameras with quoted prices set out clearly of what required work that needed to be carried out. The issue was regarding the SD assembly, main PCB and recalibrate. I also opted to have the body sensor cleaned. They also quoted me for lens servicing, but I upgraded from the Nikkor 18-55mm lens to the Tamron 17-50mm lens, so this service was not required. I was happy with the £174 quote I received and agreed with the repairs and sensor clean. The repairs started on the 6th of April, there was only one downside to the whole process. This was the fashion that payment is taken. When agreeing a quote you will then be sent a link to your email to pay via ‘’takepayments’’. I would feel more confident in sending the payment via PayPal or directly through Sendean Cameras website. I do also comprehend that you can make payment when picking your item up from the store, but it would be amazing if other payment methods were available. Nonetheless, the repair took 7 days 5 working days as Sendean Cameras are closed on the weekend, which was quite impressive. As the shop in Holborn was re-open, I decided to take a short trip down to Sendean Cameras to see the process of my camera. I was greeted by the friendly receptionist who brought my fixed and clean camera and lens to me quickly after showing the confirmation invoice. My Nikon D3500 now functions as brand new, thank you Sendean Cameras for the five star service. I will not hesitate to contact again if my equipment develops a fault.
My compact camera developed a focus fault and after checking around locally to no avail. Found these most helpful people. They fixed the fault and serviced the camera, plus got it back in time for my holiday. Well worth checking them out, if you have camera problems.
