I visited Selly Manor to watch an outside production of Charley's Aunt. The garden is extremely pretty and small, so ideal for anyone whose mobility isn't great, so I didn't get to see the house. I did however, visit the accompanying building which is a converted barn come shop. It's very pretty too, with beams and whitewashed walls. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and will return to see the beautifully timbered, Tudor house on my next visit.
A small but interesting museum next to Cadbury World in Birmingham! Much more interesting as well! Totally worth a visit!Visited onWeekday
Lovely little place to spend a lovely warm afternoon. Friendly staff really make you feel welcome. Lots of history and can dress up in different costumes for some fun. Then can play golf in the gardens.
Lovely place to look around ! Staff are very friendly and happy to give you information on the manor. Steeped in history and very good to experience! Informative pleasant visit to two very old buildings only quite small. Also nice little garden,went to cafe at next door garden centre which was great.Reservation recommendedNo
An old cottage relocated from a few miles away. The highlight, even for adults, was being able to try on old clothes and armour. Very friendly and informative staff.
Visited here last Friday straight after Cadbury World. Went and bought tickets inside staff were sat relaxing not at the ticket desk and told us to walk on in ourselves after purchasing. The Tudor houses had hardly anything inside with no history information or staff. Left within 5 minutes. Felt it was a waste of money, best off just taking a photo from outside for free.
Fantastic place. My son 10 y.i was impressed. You can have some activities with children trying to find hidden objects. Museum is amazingly maintained by stuff and volunteers. I would visit it again since we haven't explored everything thoroughly

Absolutely brilliant. Mini golf on for the kids today. Trails. Dressing up. Toys and games. Beautiful garden and alot of history. Staff so friendly. Would definitely recommend.
