Fresh hot food. Ok price for the size. Slow service & food took a while to come so drinks had gone cold. Ok for a quick bite but nothing special.
One of a handful of places open on boxing day, our usual favourites were closed. The food was very poor, the fish seemed like it had been sat in the hot cabinet for too long, the chips were cold. They only take cash. For an establishment of this size, in 2022, make of that what you will. Never again.
Absolutely Garbage..fish with skin on!! Come on no one leaves the skin on . When asked if they did fish with no skin the lad said yes but you had to request it....how can you request it when you dont know its got skin on in the first place and £2.90 for a can of coke !!!! GIVE THIS PLACE A SWERVE
Took my family here for lunch and we will never return! Being January we decided it best to dive in somewhere out the cold and have lunch but the cold continued as there was no heating in the restaurant at all. we needed a ramp but the disabled entrance was locked so we had to walk all the way back around and carry the wheels up the stairs We sat there in coats. The food was cold served on cold plates. There’s a couple of dietary requirements in our family and due to the poor choice and lack of knowledge of ingredients, me and my wife could not eat here. The food was entirely overpriced and an unpleasant experience that we will not be doing again.
Can tell the owner of this got done for not paying tax's, but still doesn't care. everything's cash only, no cards no receipts, the staff are children, toilets had broken handryers and rust on the doors and radiators even the walls, seats were slashed in the dining area with foam falling out, even the ladies and gents signs are a joke and drawn on with a marker pen with a picture of a stick figure carrying a handbag, walls covered in God knows what, food was quick but below average, prices were crazy, 9 quid for a fish and chips and 2.80 for a bottle of coke, but the weather outside was nice so one star for that.
For a lot of years this has been our go to restaurant when we visit Cleethorpes it was always packed and que’s out of the door this time it was empty and now I can see why Never again! I left my meal the fish had an awful taste can’t explain, the chips were Luke warm the peas looked ok until I mixed them up a little and there were hard crusty lumps in them like they had been caught on the bottom of the pan. I did take them back and they were exchanged but still came back with a couple in so I gave up and left them totally. My husband said his were ok and my children didn’t eat all of their meals. The only part I actually thought was ok was my latte but it was out of a machine and not a proper coffee machine but at £3.20 wasn’t cheap either. £2.80 for a bottle of coke though ridiculous. All in all not a great meal and wasn’t exactly cheap either. Won’t be back which saddens me as this used to be a lovely little place we looked forward to eating in. Only giving one star as I can’t give any less
I wasn't expecting much for 2.50 but the fish and chips were very good for the price. A decent sized fish and a reasonable amonut of chips. Just in front of Seaway there some park benches in a small park on the sea front where you can eat. Good value for money
Cashier gave us change for 10quid when we gave 20. We pointed out the error and recieved our 10 quid, but the guy didn't even have to check. He knew. Also received two different prices for the same order. Be aware, there is reasons the locals avoid seaway.
Not great. The fish was a generous size but totally tasteless. Chips were ok ...the most tasty thing on the plate were the mushy peas. Don't expect a glass for your canned drink either. There will be better places for Fish n Chips in Cleethorpes I'm sure.
Below average experience unfortunately. Decided to eat inside, not the cleanest of restaurants. Food was expensive, fish was soggy and slimy, and the chips had no flavour to them. Staff members were all young and had little customer service experience. And was surprised that it’s a cash only establishment. Fairly dodgy these days. Won’t return and wouldn’t recommend.
