I have eaten here on many occasions and is first place my daughter's look forward to visiting when they visit from Vancouver. There is nothing fancy about restaurant in fact it could be considered utilitarian but the fish and chips are excellent  a large fillet of fish and generous portion of chips and mushy peas. The batter is light fluffy  everything is always hot and well served by friendly staff. Food is good value for money as is reasonably priced.

My favourite chippy in Grimsby & Cleethorpes! Only a few tables to sit in but well worth it, lovely staff, lovely food and the kids get plenty! Always delicious!!

So I failed to open the door, but as soon as I was in I knew it would be a good’n.
Friendly staff.
Light crispy batter.
Excellent portions.
They only take cash so get some before you go.

Ii have been visiting this place on and off for about 30 years or so. The staff are always lovely. I visited the place on new years eve and unfortunately the meal was dreadful. The fish was suposed to be jumbo haddock. It was actually two very small pieces of some kind of fish but not anywhere near the quality of the haddock I have been served previously plus, it was a strange colour too. it was tasteless and smelled a bit funny. The amount of chips you get for the money is a lot less and the bread was poor quality and not very fresh either. If thats how this place is heading think its over the road to Steels for me from now on ...
