Called in today with Mum day before Mother's Day it was packed. The lady at the front of house said we could sit & wait & she would try to squeeze us in. We only had to wait about 10 minutes. We ordered our food & drink, the tea came straight away & the food followed not long after. The fish was lovely, fresh & tasty accompanied by fab chips & mushy peas/ curry sauce. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Our first here and overall we weren't disappointed. It was very busy, so luckily we had booked a table it's highly recommendednService was quick and I would note that you have to pay once food has been ordered.nThe battered haddock was fantastic but I thought the regular size would be bigger, so would order the jumbo next time. My son enjoyed his poached haddock but they forgot the peas we didn't notice till the endnGood value for money...£41 for regular fish/chips/peas, jumbo poached fish/chips/salad/missing peas/parsley sauce & curry, bottle of beer and full bottle of wine. Plus bread & butter only 40p a slice.nWe defo recommend and will return.

Very friendly and helpful staff with helping to choose my meal.nnPrices are great and portion sizes big, the large haddock was delicious.

We had a fab experience here.nnThanks to the friendly lady front of house who managed to secure us a table in a very busy bar.nnStaff are friendly and attentive. Our orders came correct, we had to wait a little longer for the Skate to be cooked but we were made fully aware of this, however all our orders came out at the same time and piping hot.nnThe food is delicious, I had haddock and it's the best I've had in a long time, tasted fresh. I also really enjoyed the curry sauce.  The chips were cooked to perfection.nnTables and cutlery were clean with condiments on the side. Toilets were clean.nnCould not fault Ocean Fish Bar at all. Thanks to all the staff for a pleasant experience.

First time we've been to ocean fish bar in years, didn't realise the resturant was so big either. Both had fish and chips, the jumbo wasn't as big as I was expecting but it was really nice and filling all the same. Great and fast service by the girls. Will definitely be back again
