Pretty poor place to stay, the customer facing staff were really excellent but the food was rotten, the rooms are old fashioned and generally a bit horrible. A couple of issues I had below. Asked for steak cooked well done, it came pink and still bleeding. Don't ask how it should be cooked if you're going to totally ignore the response and do what you like anyway. Asked for porridge, received some dry overcooked mess that I would have needed a knife and fork to eat. Eggs Benedict, one of the eggs had clear slime on it, I assume it wasn't cooked properly. Inside the kettle in the room is disgusting, full of limescale. Finally, I really have issues with hotels that mis-advertise. It almost gives me a sense of fraud. If a room is described as having a 'king bed' then that's what it should have. This place has fallen into the trap of shoving 2 single beds together and calling it a king. While I don't like this practice, many places do it. The issue I have here is that the 2 single beds that were pushed together weren't even the same height, making for a particularly uncomfortable night. Rooms: Old fashioned Food & drinks: Rotten food, everything I had was either undercooked or overcooked.
Quirky restaurant area, tasty food and friendly staff. Came for Breakfast with Santa and staff went above and beyond to cater to us and our young child's needs. Santa and the elf who visited came and chatted with every child, got photos and there were lots of activities out for childrenService: 5/5
Lovely little pub in Seaton, the décor is amazing very 1960s garden centre which I love. The bar is dog friendly and even has water bowls ready for you to take for your pup alongside a jar of treats for you to help yourself. There is a good selection of beer including Blue Moon personal favourite.
If you like the smell of dogs and in particular in every room and every part of the dinning area, this place is a must! Definitely dog friendly but not convinced about balance between dogs and people is right. Staff were great and very helpful and friendly but I felt they playing with a bit if a busted flush of a product in the restraunt as most of the menu was not available as they had not had a delivery - very poor over a bh w/e! Not convinced by the claim of a room deep clean as our room had a smell which I am guessing is dog. Breakfast very good but overall a bit disappointing for the price. Not on list to return and avoid if you have the slightest of allergies.
Lovely friendly staff, great location , rooms spotless. Had dinner here but food good do with improvement. Breakfast was nice and great choice.Rooms: 5/5
AVOID. I booked two nights in advance, paid upfront and then was unwell so couldn’t go. Part of my rate was £20 for a dog to cover extra cleaning and they even REFUSED to refund that despite the fact I had not even set foot in the room! I understand cancellation policies but that is PURE GREED.Rooms: 1/5
Lovely, very dog friendly Inn. The staff were excellent and nothing was a bother. We and our dog felt most welcome. The food and drink was great also.
Wow I stay all.over the north and this place was amazing..from the service to the food and the rooms, the place is so colourful and warm, the winter set menu was out of this world...out of 30 hotels I have stayed in in the last 2 month's this has to be top. Wish it was down south to be honestRooms: 5/5
