Bleak. No loos. Absolutely joyless no mans land. Freezing cold benches to sit on. Parking can be tight. Prefer to use Scarborough Station. Once wanted a taxi and was told there were none. The bus is hourly too. Avoid if don't wish to be marooned.
****edit**** Parking is no longer free and literally changed overnight - please see picture for rates A small suburban station that is handy for the commuter out of Scarborough due to its Free parking, arrive early to get a parking space.
Small train station with a ticket machine and a very clean station and with many trains stopping here while waiting for my train to.York
Good enough station but it should be made clearer that the station is not in Seamer village but it is situated in the village of Crossgates, a mile away. Parking access is quite tight.
Single platform useful for changing to go down Yorkshire coast to Hull. Now with Wifi. Hourly services to York prevent 5 stars
This train station still looks the same the only thing that is different is the ticket office is,nt there anymore.Many years ago they had a waiting room that had a wood burning stove in it when the weather was back it was lovely to sit in there and wait for the train.
An island platform that has not much to entertain you but service is easy to fine. DMI's for both platforms and announcements are made for incoming trains!
Excellent Station. Very clean and Tidy
Good for transfering for Filey and Bridlington when travelling from York.
