I use Seacourt Park & Ride regularly for commuting; in the mornings on weekdays you can usually find a space so long as you arrive before around 10am (it does tend to get full after this time). It is a safe and well maintained car park operated by Oxford City Council, with a standard charge of £2 for 1-11 hours. Discounts are available for purchasing a longer period parking permit. Number plates are checked via ANPR so you do not need to display your ticket (but you must be sure to enter your number plate correctly!). The bus is operated separately from the car park (by the Oxford Bus Company), and costs £1.80 single and £2.80 for a return (£2.60 off-peak). The buses have recently been upgraded and are fairly frequent. There is discussion the Park & Ride may be expanded in the near future to accommodate more vehicles.

Easy to get to; well positioned for the town centre. Good bus frequency in and out.

Terrible idea! We took this shoddy service on Sunday 19th November. We paid £2.40 to park the car, then a further £9.60 to take the bus which claimed to be 'every 15 minutes' we waited 15 mins for the first bus into the town centre, then on the way back we waited 40 minutes in the cold, the queue was huge, then 3 buses turned up at once. Avoid this at all costs. I wish we had just walked! Park and ride should encourage cars to avoid the city centre by being cheaper and more convenient. Terrible service!

Awful introduction to Oxford.... payment methods are confused, takes ages to load bus as people paying. We waited over 25 minutes for a bus back.... shocking.

Return buses are rubbish, don't stop for anyone! Worst experience ever!
