Well what can I say.  As I turned the corner, just past the Waitrose shop, and cool looking bar restaurant I was greeted by one of the most amazing sights of my life.  Dark tarmac, broken up by clear crisp white lines, with bright arrows pointing directions.  It was a miracle of modern engineering and use of space.  I decided to leave my car between the white lines mainly as other people had done it, and then got out to take in the mastery of paint work, mixing with tarmac and space.  Trees lined the area, and a wall backed on to the local park, where children played meters away from this euphoric space.  I couldn't believe more people weren't looking in wonder at how this worked, and praising the designers.  Then i realised this was just a car park where you parked a car and paid for the privilege.  Mobile phone or coin. Not too bad.
