No exaggeration but that was the worst Chinese I've eaten ever. Greasy under cooked and bland. Took 10 minutes to chew one slice of beef

It's one of the best Chinese restaurants. It's not glam. It's quite dated, and I don't remember it being any different. And I've been here forever. Not in the Sea Horse. In the area. Family owned by a lovely family too. But don't expect super chic. Or even chic. Just good food. Mmm.

The chicken balls are nice and crispy...that's where the good point(s) end. The takeaway is dark and dismal inside and out and does not inspire confidence in the cleanliness. Every dish was very salty and the quality of meat was awful. Despite this they charge the equivalent of top city restaurants...the benefit of being the only Chinese in town I suppose. Save your money and buy some stir fry from one of the excellent butchers in town, it will be fresh and taste 10x better.
