The pre sale service is great but the after sales service could be better to be honest. They don't really make you feel valued after the sale has taken place and it would of been nice for them to be honest about delivery and fitting times, especially when at the time of sale it couldn't of been made any more clearer that they were needed quite quickly. If I knew I would of definitely gone somewhere else. But what's done is done so let's hope the fitters male me change my mind about using this company again

If you order a carpet don't expect it when they say. This is now the second time that we have taken a day of work for the carpet to not come when they say. In my case now, I'm waiting a further week after already altering the day once prior to this. I'm very disappointed.

Bought two leather sofas and all the dye rubbed off within weeks of purchase. they refused to replace or repair told me to bring the sofas back for them to inspect! Wouldn't touch them again! Poor quality furniture, expensive and poor customer service.

We purchased a sofa from these cowboys which they sold to us as 'endurance leather.' The sofa lasted approximately 12 months before starting to peel, baring in mind we are a full time working couple who probably use the sofa for roughly 2 hours a night! SCS was appalling in their response to our complaint about the furniture and just fobbed us off to the insurance company. The insurance company then came out to paint the areas on the sofa where it had peeled which didn't make the slightest difference, and we are now having exactly the same problems with our second sofa! It was extremely difficult to get a claim for the sofa but after seeking advice from citizens advice, who advised we were within our rights under the consumer rights act, we were successful. SCS had sold us a product claiming to be leather and was not leather at all. Previous to us finalising the claim for the sofa we were advised that SCS no longer did endurance leather and that it was now endurance fabric- this to me speaks volumes and shows that the original endurance leather was evidently not leather at all!! They even provided us with a guardsman leather care kit which was suppose to 'maintain' the leather! This is by far the worst experience we've had with a retailer and one we will never forget! I would never recommend anyone to use this company and feel very sorry for the others that unfortunately already have!
