Great place and very efficient, however alot of products can be out of stock..
This place has really gone down hill over the last 18 months or so, they don't s.eem to be able to hang on to staff for very long, so the staff you are left with don't have the experience to answer any questions you may have and the management are a shambles, lazy putting their own failings on the newer sales staff. Screwfix have also done away with the catalogue opting for self service screen's meaning where it was hard to get any help before now it's impossible......big mistake screwfix
Screwfix is a good option if you need diy stuff at a reasonable price but bear in mind 2 things.1. it is part of the group that owns B&Q so prices are compatible 2. A lot of items that are listed are NOT in store. You have to wait at least 24 hours for it to come into store. Can get confusing when ordering multiple items with some in store and some you have to wait. So you could end up making multiple journeys if not careful
Well stocked reasonable priced for builders and DIY. CATALOGUES not presently available but due to return so best to prepare item number before arrival and can check availability online.
I recommend click and collect here, a lot less hassle and waiting around. This branch has all possible precautions in place at the moment which means queuing outside of you haven't bought online already. All in all good experience.
I got a job there they told me it was full time then 3 month's later they said they don't need me anymore. I gave up a full time job as I Always wanted to work for screwfix. The job was what I expected amazing loved every day. So really they screwed me over. Was not happy at all.

The three stars are for having the item I desperately needed at a good price! You lost two stars for the dirty environment, especially the disgusting unhygienic state of the card machine. I work in a hospital and am always aware of these things but particularly at the moment! Please clean up!
Fantastic friendly service, had an issue with a Titan Brush cutter failing, they exchanged for a new item no problem and hassle free. Would highly recommend them.
