Lovely pub and restaurant in quiet village. Good menu, good service and friendly staff. Outside beer garden when weather permits. Had a lovely meal there to celebrate our son’s university graduation. Nice walks around the local area and pub has printed walking routes available.Service: 5/5
Went for lunch following an organised walk and everything was great. Our group had a room of our own and the service and food were excellent. The pub was very busy but our food came on time and we were served by very pleasant, friendly staff. Food & drinks: Lovely food cooked to order.
Excellent stay, wonderful warm friendly welcome, modern, fresh room which was spotless, and spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely village pub, the food was absolutely excellent . Imogen and the team were friendly , nothing was too much trouble.Rooms: 5/5
Me and my mum stayed at the Scotts Arms Inn for 4 nights in June 2024. We absolutely loved it there and will definitely be coming back. Our whole experience of the inn was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable, the service from all staff was outstanding and the food breakfast, evening meals and Sunday roasts was incredible. I didn't want to leave! I highly recommend visiting the Inn!
Very average roast which is surprising for the price. Came swimming in gravy which I don't like. Overall not Impressed but pub itself nice and staff great.
Once again 3 times in a month Sunday lunch amazing, the staff are so helpful, happy beautiful people nothing too much trouble. A big thank you too you all, from the searle family.Service: 5/5
Thought the staff could be friendlier and the yorkshire puddings had flour falling out which had not been mixed properly and was not even cooked. When we complained no one could be bothered coming back on it. They will not keep their customers at this level.Rooms: 1/5
Called for lunch while out house hunting. Lovely food, definitely more restaurant quality than pub food. Gastropub would definitely describe. Look up country pub and there should be a picture of this! It has a decent car park, plastic holders outside containing printouts of various walking routes. The loos are clean and well equipped you know what I mean, girls!. There's a lovely fireplace and various signs for music nights etc. I'd probaly move here based on the pub alone! Service was excellent and the food delicious, slightly expensive but not overpriced. Menu had lots of options and specials on the board.
Called by for a pint with the Yorkshire Driving Club. Friendly staff, plenty of beers, lagers and wine to choose from. No time for food, so I cannot comment, although there were plenty dining when I visited. Maybe next time.Service: 5/5
Somewhat bland, chicken special was dry, mashed potatoes were reconstructed. One starter, a mousse, was small, without bread and when asked we received a slice of dry bread no butter . Standards appear to have slipped - unfortunately.Service: 4/5
