Nice friendly pub. Good beverages, clean and tidy decor. Limited parking
A rare proper, down to earth pub. There is always someone friendly to talk to. The best beer garden in Wetherby with its own resident chickens. A favourite for dog walkers as they are all welcome.
Stayed 1 night. BEWARE. AWFUL. would rate it less than 1 star. taps on wash basin broken.and shower broken. shabby room with dubious colour grey/brown towels and brown/green check bedding! not white bedding although shows this on website. Cheerful landlord.
Great pub with nice atmosphere.
Wheelchair access is not easy but can be done. There's a number on the back gate to ring if you have problems opening the beer garden gate but I haven't tried it we managed to get in with one for held open. Beers are good will kept and three decent ales on offer. Staff are friendly a local pub where you are made welcome.
Stayed here for one night while visiting my brother in York. Nice modern room at the back of the pub. Great breakfast. Staff very friendly. They weren't serving dinners when I was there, but easy to walk into town to find something followed by after-dinner stroll to see the Tardis outside the police station : It was perfect for what I wanted.
Stayed 2 nights very spacious and comfortable rooms, great stay and great hosts
One night was one night too many, the bedroom no:1 was not clean and the basin in the en suite had NO plug. The plastic beakers were unclean with someone else's toothpaste remains. The television was minute and not modern, the teacups were doubtful regarding cleanness. The management had no facility to pay by either debit cards or credit cards and we were directed to the garage cash machine. Just no way to spend a night.
Very friendly pub nice warm cozy bar staff very friendly welcoming.
