Phoned Toby about a Peugeot 207cc he had for sale drove down from Newcastle seen the car test drove it. Was exactly what he described so I bought it there and then. Fabulous car worth every penny. Fantastic experience with Toby and Simon at Scotton Garage when buying my little runaround car. I found them to be instantly trustworthy, efficient and professional. They put me at ease, attended to all my questions and thought processes, and gave me space to get all the admin done. An excellent local family business with great service and good reliable and professional people. I have been a customer of Simon's for over 20 years, buying my cars, those for my wife and latterly those for my children from them. I return for all my service, MOT and repair work because the work is first class, there is no pressure to upsell and any additional work has been discussed with me first and fully explained including costings, prior to being carried out. Good honest advice from a professional local business with friendly service. What's not to like?

Simon and Toby at Scotton garage have helped me no end with repairs and advice. They are extremely knowledgeable and very competitively priced. I would never go anywhere else for work or MOT. They will always go out of their way to help you. Thank you Toby and Simon for all you have done for me and I look forward to our continued business.
Always done my MOT and servicing and always been very honest and fair. Took my old renault kangoo in years ago and which I thought would fail massively. Only had a few issues which they didn't charge me the earth to rectify, Hence why I think they are very fair. Also supplied me with a courtesy car while the works were done so I could carry on with my day. I now have a brand new van, which doesn't need an MOT yet but I still take it too them for a service because I know they will always look after it. The only time I did decide to wait, i was given coffee while I looked around all the classic cars which one day I will definatley buy. Lovely staff and from what i can tell a lovely well ran family business.
Have used these guys on numerous occasions in the past and can not fault the service. Had tyres replaced here numerous times before and they have always got me the best deal for quality and price. When having issues with my Dunlop tyres they set me up with some non “big name” tyres which were better, cheaper and lasted longer. On a previous car I experienced a major issue with the engine that 2 garages before could not diagnose. They spent hours diagnosing the fault at no extra cost to myself, something not many garages do anymore. The only reason I don’t use them anymore is that I live 100 miles away. Would definitely recommend!
