After a very stressful and unsuccessful morning of school shoe shopping, we tried Schuh for our last ditch attempt. The staff were amazing and helped us find a pair for both children, the correct size was out of stock but was ordered with free delivery to our home address. Definitely returning to Schuh for school shoes again, even my children left complimenting our experience in the shop. Update: less than 2 weeks into term both pairs had broken and we were refused a refund on them. Such a shame as we had really high hopes for the shop.

Pressure selling techniques!! The staff were like sharks, as soon as I picked up a shoe, within 10 seconds I had two staff asking if I needed any help. Whilst trying on the shoes, I had the sales woman stand over me like a hawk. When I asked for a minute to think if I wanted to spend over £150 on these shoes she still just stood there, waiting. I quite liked the shoes but I felt so pressured to buy them that I left the shop. Not a pleasant experience and I won’t be back.
Went in to buy crocs, and waited for 25 minutes. However we we're efficiently served by a floorworker Hannah Queen and the acting floor manager. The hectic atmosphere was explained by it being a Saturday, but the lack of tills and aimless waiting felt unnecessary and annoying
AMAZING staff! I rarely post this but they are always incredibly polite, very patient and knowledgable on fashion trends. I’ve bought my wedding shoes here and trainers. If they don’t know already please encourage the staff as this level of service is rare. Leave every time feeling like it was worthwhile and buy something almost every time when I wasn’t planning to.
Collected an order from Schuh in Guildford yesterday. The staff were so helpful and efficient, it was the best customer service I have experienced in a shop for a long time. So much better than Office.
There was a mix up and the issue was fixed promptly. I now have more confidence in Schuh, especially in Guildford branch, that I can spend my money there with peace of mind. Bought a pair of Nike SB Skateboard for my son. Turned out the left shoe in the box was the wrong model but looked extremely similar to the right shoe. Hence, my son didn't realise the mix-up and wore them to the skate park and immediately put on a fair bit of wear and tear. Took them back to the shop the next day. The staff, Sophie, was very helpful, polite and apologised for the mistake. No fuss was made on the wear and tear, although I did say sorry for they were not in brand new condition. The manager also apologised. Thank you
Great selection of shoes, fast and helpful staff. They've usually always got the latest drops in stock, which is ideal for collectors and sneaker heads. For ordinary customers, the selection is exceptional regardless of gender or age. I rarely go anywhere else when shopping for sneakers, unless looking for niche purchases like Yeezy's
With an enormous range of shoes, all displayed well and healthy compliment of staff you would think all is good. However, the staff are more interested in grouping up in brunches of 2 or 3 and talking amongst themselves. Trouble is with 3 or 4 gaggles of shop staff on the floor is it leaves no room to walk around and then no way to look at the shoes, never mind trying them on. Sadly a poor score from me.
