Absolutely brilliant shop, went in to find a new pair of shoes after my beloved work loafers sole decided to part company from the main event. Staff were absolutely brilliant, very friendly and went out their way to help me select the type of shoe my specific tastes, which were chiefly comfort and shrainer like appearance. Top level politeness from the staff as well. If these beauties aren't practical for general loafing around I don't know what is... Highly recommended this shoe emporium for outstanding levels of customer service
I visited the Aberdeen store for a pair of trainers and was assisted by Aspin who I found to be extremely pleasant, professional and helpful. A polar opposite from earlier experience at JB Sports today. Needless to say I bought from SCHUH!! well done Aspin
Staff in Schuh Aberdeen were excellent. Ordered a pair of trainers in store for my daughter to be delivered to the house. Ordered Monday lunchtime, delivered Wednesday afternoon, fabulous service.
Great customer service from all staff. Had to order a size of shoe not in stock that day but when it arrived it was too large. Popped in to the shop and exchanged with absolutely no issues. Fab shop and lovely staff.
Staff always super helpful.
Bought a pair of Dr Marten boots from Schuh online. Tried them on once in the house on carpet and within minutes, I knew that they were too small. I took them to the store to exchange them and the girl serving would not accept a return as she said they had been worn. I was baffled as I can't check the size without wearing them. She suggested that they looked worn on the soles. I assured her that I had only worn them once in the house on carpet, so I couldn't understand how they could look worn. She was adament that she was not going to return them. I was extremely annoyed with her manner as I felt she was suggesting I was being deceitful. I decided to head round to the actual Dr Marten shop to ask their opinion on whether they would accept an exchange for my boots. They looked at the sole of the boot and said that they seen no signs of wear and tear and they would have been more than happy to accept an exchange had I bought the boots from them. I decided to head back to the shop and speak to the lady again who actually was the manager. She said she would try "cleaning" the sole and if it made a difference then she "might" be able to accept an exchange. Again, I felt her manner was extremely patronising and I was beginning to feel embarrassed, something I shouldn't be feeling seeing as I had done nothing wrong. After a while she came back and claimed it took "a lot of work" to clean the sole and make it look OK to resell. The way she spoke was as if I'd trudged through trenches in the boots. I didn't appreciate her passive aggressive remarks at all. She eventually decided to let me get a refund as they never had a new size in store. I decided to head back to the Dr Marten store to buy the boots as I was not going to give my money to a company that hires staff members who accuse customers of being dishonest.
Really helpful and friendly staff.
Staff were friendly enough but there could have been so much better initiative. I felt that I had to do most of the thinking for them and ended up coming away with a pair of trainers that I will now have to return as they aren't suitable. This is for Schuh St Nicholas branch.
Good experience shopping here, quality product, with plenty of choice from, classics to the more trendy options. Friendly staff, average prices, not extortionate. Walked in for one pair, walked out with two.
Staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly, helped me find suitable replacement laces for my vans and were keen to be of assistance at all times.
