Extremely poor quality school uniform and ignorant on quality issues raised to them. School jumpers I purchased from them shed fluff like mad. Their reply is “our supplier has informed us that this is within their tolerance as there is no fault with the garment” and asked me to keep washing the jumpers. They claim to be the “top quality UK school uniform supplier”. This shows just high their standard really is. Nobody would accept this sort of quality from any high street clothes retailer. Why is this acceptable for school uniform?!
Had a tough experience when we had to contact Schoolyard, and am so impressed with the customer service. After our delivery was left by the courier in a safe place, we arrived home an hour later and it was not there. When checking with the company, he courier came back to the house to show us where they had left it, and then when it still could not be located they replaced the items. Really impressed and grateful!
Nice to use a local firm but there are a couple of problems. 1. The sizing varies widely with which manufacturer they supply. We bought two hoodies for the same school, one XS and one S. They were from different manufacturers and the XS was actually larger than the S! 2. Even though we live just over a mile away, they won't allow us to pick up - we have to pay nearly £5 for delivery. Of course, for returns - where they would have to pay - they are happy for us to drop the items back to them so they don't have to pay the postage. COVID has been around long enough now that they should have been able to come up with a suitable scheme to allow pick up for people that live close to them.
I ordered at the beginning of the summer school holidays expecting there to be a wait to receive my order, I was pleasantly surprised to receive my order the very next day with great quality items too
Good service while the quality of fabric is average.
Brilliant customer service - my order got lost in the ether but as soon as I contacted The Schoolyard, Ruby was on it and I got my order within a few hours. Mistakes happen, how you put them right is the difference between good and bad service. I really appreciated how quickly this issue was rectified, thank you!
I can t believe that the school yard are charging £7.20 delivery from Royston to Melbourn !!!I send parcels all the time this is an unexceptable price to charge for postage ! They are saying due to covid u are unable to pick up why not ask people to call when outside and someone run it down ???? I think their making money on these tough times !!!
Ok. It isn't open to collect your order on weekends though. You can only order via their site. One is not able to make a request by E-mailinging nor by phoning the company
Rude staff hanged up the phone on me when I told her my son needs his school jumper otherwise he'll will get in trouble with school they say next day delivery useless company wish I could do no stars.
