Had a brake light go on my car last week and rang Motor Parts Direct for a new bulb. Popped over, really friendly and helpful, Josh also fitted it and fixed another bulb that had gone too. Lovely team, will definitely be back, thank you so much for an excellent service.

I would recommend these guys to anyone Recently I’ve had new voices on the phones there is a lovely girl .. I think her name is Pam or tam  she is ever so polite and well mannered I really like dealing with her She’s said a couple of times please bare with me or can I call you back while she looks into things I’ve asked for She always phones back quickly and every time has a laugh and a joke with me  It sounds like a really friendly place to work too

Josh was super helpful. Changing a bulb isn't rocket science but a well know retailer made my life extremely difficult to simply replace a headlight. After calling MPD Josh advised me to come to in and take a look. My issue was resolved in 2 minutes, literally. Will definitely be coming back there for any required parts.

I went to MDP to buy a new battery as my car broke down at work. The assistant manager and Mark were amazing, they went above and beyond I have so much praise for them. Would highly recommend.

Amazing service replacing my car keyless entry car key from start to finish and with a brilliant price far better than the dealer or other high street names. Honestly took a massive worry off me by sorting a problem I would have dealt with months ago if I'd known about these guys sooner! Will 1000% use again and reccomend to anyone asking!

I travelled up from Wales to nuthampstead Fri and when I got near my battery light came on. RAC called out and the alternator had failed   so I phoned your depot and spoke to josh who was a life saver . Not only did I purchase a new alternator but he found someone to fit it for me and saved my weekend away.  Thank you josh. Regards Mike Bennett

I broke down just short of Duxford air museum at 06.00 on Thursday 8th June. At 08.00 I called Royston MPD to ask if they had a 11A1025C fan belt on the shelf or one close enough in length to get me going again. Stupidly I had not carried a spare in the vehicle so was stuck!  It was obviously not a good start to the morning for the 'operative' at this depot who seemed to be in a foul mood and not prepared to listen or go that 'extra mile' for a person in distress. Actually so totally unlike the Ellough branch which is my main depot where the folk there are kind, helpful and go out of their way for customers. I was close to the road with the noise of heavy early morning traffic, I am elderly, a little deaf and trying to explain my predicament went totally over the head of the young man, who, by the way said that he was the Manager of the branch! He cut me off twice in mid conversation. As a loyal account holder to this company for nearly two decades I was saddened, upset and thought this attitude bordering on cruel. Luckily the RAC arrived and went off to another branch of MPD for a fan belt which got me on my way. So to sum up; Poor/nasty experience with Royston's MPD and I will avoid this depot in future. Picture is of the remenants of my 'V' belt.

The team were great, plenty of information and help from them and they were very friendly.  Good range of products and there are deals. I mainly get my cleaning and consumables from the team.  Can't go wrong.
