Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Room was mostly clean and comfortable apart from the odd cobweb and the rim of the toilet. Shower didn't work all the time we were there. Food was of a good quality and well presented. Carpet on stairs was worn and threadbare in many places. Marmalade would have been nice at breakfast.

Lovely stay, friendly staff always happy to help. Only slight criticism is the bed in our room was very creeky I'm a heavy sleeper so didn't effect me but could keep others awake as any slight movement was a loud creek!

Staff were so attentive and nice, the Food was delicious, I'd happily recommend to friends and family

Vegetarian. Meal ordered only to find potatoes cooked in beef fat. For a Sunday lunch only 6 people in reasturant should have warned us of what to expect. Food was scarce, took twenty minutes to arrive. Served up on a tea plate. Basic food for a country inn. Menu's variety very poor. No hot desert. Never to visit again. Waiter was toothless which did not impress when food did arrive.

I booked this last minute and the staff were very accommodating as there were no family suites left so they put up 2 put up beds for the children. Staff were helpful and friendly, lovely atmosphere and food was lovely. A lovely country inn 😊
