Lovely place for food and drinks, recently refurbished and great staff. Good value for money.

Food is not what it used to be and prices have gone up. Lovely restaurant setting but have tried this place a couple of times for food and each time no improvement. This is our nearest restaurant and we hope for it to improve so that we can return. The pub that it's attached to The Three Mile actually has better food.

Never been so insulted by a waiter in my life. To be told I need to pay for my friend, who happens to be a woman, because I'm a man. The waiter needs to pull his head out of the 1960s. Food wasn't even good enough to make up for it. Will not return.

Good food, great service at a reasonable price. I would not say it's a romantic place and the location while accessible is hardly attractive. But if you want to take the family for some nice Italian food, then Scalini's in Gosforth is certainly worth a visit.

Sunday dinner was excellent. Staff were good. Quick service. Recommended

Really good value. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We were there for a friend's hen do and they really helped make it special.
