Called at 8 am to book an appointment and I was informed that a doctor will call me. I asked for a specific time when the doctor will call but i was not given any information on when they might call, which made it hard for me to manage at my end. I missed the call by 10 minutes and i was left a message to give the surgery a call back. When i called the surgery back, i was informed that the Doctor will be calling me in 10-15 minutes, however I received no call. When i called again to ask for a follow-up, I've been told that there are no more appointments and couldn't speak to a doctor. PS i spoke to a receptionist named Chris who was very rude on the phone. I tried explaining that the Doctor has left me a message saying that i need to call back the surgery, but Chris kept cutting me off verbally, I was also put on hold without notice and had the phone put down on me.
I’ve been very patient and trusted the doctors and thankful that got seen by a nurse practitioner. I’ve been coughing and choking on my own breath for two months now but they can’t give me an appoinment with a GP sooner because they think I have to wait two more weeks to see if it goes away, but if it didn’t go away in two months I’m not sure what two more weeks of suffering will do. Also without any rest as I still have to go to work because nurse practitioner can not give me a sick note, only a GP can, but they will not let me see a GP. I’m very sad.
If you're a student just signing up to a new GP - Don't go here!! The actual doctors and HCAs are great but the system and some of the reception staff are the worst I've encountered. Not only myself but others have felt gaslighted. If you miss a telephone call by minute you shouldn't have to wait in an hour queue - to be palmed off.
Never had a problem. Appointments can take some time but I've never had any problems during appointments
I never review but I felt I had to. Steer away from this GP. I’ve been registered here for 2 years and haven’t been able to get 1 appointment. I’m deregistering tomorrow. It deserves 0 stars
Past experience has been very mixed but the last 2 weeks, I've called at 8am, got 2 appointments, and a referral. Sure it takes a while to get through, but recently I've had a much better experience.
I never write any review before. I’m registered here last 2year but I never got any appointments. Even today I couldn’t get it,wasting my time. Really bad service from receptionist. I will change the GP Today
Extremely Awful Experience, the receptionist hung up the phone twice when I try to make an appointment. It is so impolite and disrespectful!! Never choose this GP again!
Awful, awful practise. The reception/admin team often require several weeks to follow through with simple requests. I had to call 3 or 4 times over a period of two weeks just to make sure my problem was communicated to a GP. I can't speak to the professionalism of other GPs, but mine wasn't particularly helpful.
Worst GP in Newcastle. Been trying to get appointments for the last two years and after waiting 3 weeks for one, got a rushed 2 minute appointment with no help whatsoever.
