This exciting new venture in association with Hilderstone Adult Education Centre, Broadstairs is now in it's eighth year. The Sarah Thorne Theatre was formed to present quality professional plays and theatre to East Kent and beyond, at the intimate Memorial Theatre, in St Peters Road, Broadstairs.

Wow What an amazing setup!.. Sarah Thorne Theatre is based at the memorial hall at Hilderstone College producing professional Theatre to the community based in the heart of Broadstairs. It is their intention to restore this beautiful venue back to full local community use and have been using their successful formula for over 8 years and are swiftly moving from strength to strength, definitely a venue to keep a look out for! Sarah Thorne have three Patrons. Dame Judi Dench DBE, David Suchet CBE both celebrated actors and writer, Author Juilan Fellowes DL We highly recommend trying this venue out, perhaps pantomime for a truly traditional and retro step back in time or perhaps their traditional summer season of plays. I am sure this community interest company will continue to provide top quality entertainment for many years to come. Hats off to the creative team!!
