What a pleasant little restaurant. We have been twice and both times the staff have been so accommodating. The staff have been polite and make you feel so welcome. The food is hot and freshly made. We will definately be regulars! The prices were reasonable too. Parking: Parking at the rear of the restaurant. Always spaces when we have been
Visited several times in a group of 4 or 5. The staff are very attentive and most importantly the food tastes fresh and the portions are good and prices reasonable. Certainly best Indian restaurant in the area in our groups opinion
Front of house service was poor. Arrived at 7pm and ordered 2 popperdums each but then had to wait ages before they took our main oder, then we waited and till 9.20pm to get main meal. Don't know what they were doing, as 3 tables arriving after us received their meals before us. The food was good when we eventually received it. We were given a discount.
Awful food/service. Just left it, we paid, and exited the premises, never to return. Ended up going to Benfleet Tandori instead. Perhaps the staff should go there or any other Indian restaurants to be fair to see how it's done. It's evident they could not give a toss. Soon they will have nobody else to serve....
Anybody who rates this restaurant clearly does it out of sympathy and loyalty to the owner and need to get off Canvey island and try an Indian in elsewhere, So let me start by saying the lemonade and coke that I ordered were both flat, the starters a prawn puri and and two onion bargis were bland and the prawn puri tasted and came with a curry like sauce like no other prawn puri, I'd seen or tasted before, it wasn't nice, The lamb vindaloo was not even as hot as a madras let alone vindaloo, the chicken jalfrezi was tasteless, the portion of rice was tiny and definitely doesn't mirror the picture posted previously by someone else, The only thing they got right and couldn't really got wrong were the poppadoms lol And to top it of got charged £45 for the luxury

Had take away lamb curry and the meat was tough and the mint sauce tasted bitter.
First visit here but definitely not the last. Decor wise but like a trip back to the 1980’s and my first Indian restaurant visit. But that’s not the reason to eat here… the food was delicious. We like Tarka Dhall thick and hot and it was perfect as we’re all the other dishes we ate. May not be the most modern decor but delicious food, clean and lovely staff. Thank you
The food here has real flavour. We have been eating here and getting takeaways for 30 years. We have tried other restaurants but always come back for the tasty food. It may take longer than some sometimes but it’s worth the wait
