Saporito Restaurant

Local family run restaurant. Been here three times and is consistently good. The room well lit and spotless. Smallish menu, food decent, staff friendly. All in all good experience, I would recommend this place without hesitation.

We have been going here for over 10 years and have got to know the owner well. Never had a bad meal. If ever something wasn't quite right, just say and they will correct.

Parked up in front to see the menu, aiming to eat here yesterday. A man came and knocked on our window before I'd even turned off the ignition saying "you can't park here unless you are eating", repeating it several times. Therefore we moved next door to pizza express who were very welcoming. So unfriendly I was quite taken aback!

Great food, staff were lovely and very reasonable !

We choose this place by accident but I'm glad we came here instead of the nearby chain Italian. Much bigger portions and a lot cheaper too. The pizza was made in a proper pizza oven although I'd prefer the bruschetta to have been made with sourdough bread and the waiter to be able to pronounce bruschetta and calzone.
