Story

Husband-and-wife team Piero and Gul Taris opened Sapori Sardi, a Sardinian restaurant situated near Putney Bridge, in February 2012. Within weeks, it was ranked second on Trip Advisor out of a staggering 11,000 London restaurants. Swiftly establishing an excellent reputation by way of its exceptional cuisine and the owners’ engaging homespun charm, Sapori Sardi has attracted a legion of fans.

I adore this cute little place. I chose it for both my Valentine dinner and my birthday party this year. Truly delicious Mediterranean food, friendly and polite service and a warm atmosphere.

The best local restaurant! Great service and delicious food in a friendly environment. Try the pasta with fennel sausage!

Nice Sardinian food and friendly staff

Doesn’t  look like much from the outside but a warm welcome and fantastic food more than make up for the high street location.  Great value and good wine list.  Bottarga pasta was great, seafood pasta excellent. We will definitely be back.
