I’ve eaten here twice with my mom and we greatly enjoyed the food both times to the point that we did come back a second time . She doesn’t really like tomato-based pasta but thoroughly enjoyed the seafood linguine. I ordered the ribeye steak and it was also great! Food was seasoned well and the ingredients were fresh. Servers were also attentive throughout the night. Would definitely come back to eat here again.
The service was great which is why it gets 2 stars. The cocktails weren't nice, I got the dark stormy rum cocktail, it was just ginger beer. The food was horrifically bad for its price. I got the gnocchi and basically it was gnocchi in tomato sauce... But the sauce was just tomatoes, where was the seasoning? I need at least salt and pepper in my food. The sauce was so watery as well. The cheese on top was disgusting, it was just thick and not edible. My friend ordered the carbonara and by god who do you get fresh pasta that hard. The bacon was nice according to her, but the pasta was hard and the sauce was just cream and oil. She didn't not even finish it. Overall, never going back.
Cons: Overpriced, not really an Italian restaurant if you’re really picky about it I am. You can definitely get better quality somewhere else. Pros. Big place, good service at least in my experience service was quick. Not probably the place I will go back but if your willing to try it, do it.
The food was outstanding, I used to live in Spain and am very fond of Mediterranean food, since moving back I find a lot of places drop the ball or don’t compare, but Locale was fantastic, from the exceptional Facaccia, to the freshness of the pizza and meats. The staff were very friendly and the whole experience felt very authentic.
Lovely vibes, good service and reasonably priced at it's food offerings. The seafood pasta was fantastic, but all dishes were great!
I went to eat there with my partner that is Italian, we order the the signature cocktails and calamari as starter. The staffs was really friendly the place well located and I really liked the atmosphere. We both loved both cocktails...was really well made and refreshing. Calamari was well seasoned and crispy. We also order 2 pasta dishes, one carbonara and seafood linguine. I was impressed with both dishes, the pasta was perfectly cooked, the flavour....OMG..was amazing and was a generous portion. My partner was really happy to eat a really nice Italian dishes. We also order a portion of focaccia and tiramisu as dessert....also..really nice. Compliments to the chefs. I totally recommend this restaurant not only as a good place to eat but also as an authentic Italian. Vegetarian options: The also have kids, vegan and vegetarian options.
Lovely place . The desserts were absolutely delicious and the cocktails were fab ! The staff were really nice and they have a happy hour deal through the week . What's not to love !!
Lovely Italian cuisine. Their vegan menu is ample and delicious. A busy restaurant and deservedly so! Would highly recommend.
Great service. Very busy, but they asked us to wait 10 minutes and they were ready in 5. Fast service, big portions, very tasty. Helpful staff.
This restaurant has a family ran feel, the service and professionalism is outstanding. The food is 10/10. I was seriously impressed by the flavours and quality of the food. I'll be back!
