Real Italian flavour in the centre of Newry. The staff speaking Italian, the open plan kitchen and the decor make you forget for a moment that you are in Ireland. Great wine and alcohol choices with less known brands. When you have sampled the menu, there is the opportunity to purchase all the ingredients including the wine, to take home with you. Highly recommended.

We have been meaning to visit this restaurant for so long. Its situated along the cobbled streets of Newry beside the canal. The decor is Italian themed and some nice ideas like parts of the ceiling decorated and items hanging, fairy lights etc. The staff were very welcoming and attentive at all times. For our starter we had a medley of 5 foods; garlic bread, pizza, tomatoe pasta, rice salad, the food was stunning. We then ordered lasagne and spaghetti carbonara, I have Nguyen never eaten freshly made spaghetti and I recommend you do as i have tasted anything like it. Absolutely delicious. I have never tasted as nice spaghetti in my life. Then we had tiramisu and a selection of desserts, truly one of the best desserts I have ever had. Very very reasonably priced. Don't think about it, just go, you doing be disappointed.

Sapori never disappoints. Great menu and a fantastic selection of specials. Friendly helpful staff and a warm pleasant atmosphere. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Great food for adults and kids alike.
