Having applied online and been refused an account application, we approached this Branch in person with all the information necessary to open an account but were turned away. Not satisfied with the lacklustre attempt by staff at the branch to support our application, I e-mailed the CEO of Santander and lo, within four hours we had been approved at Head Office for an account. Message....Don't take 'no' for an answer..ever...ever keep at it and go to the top when minor employees give up at the first hurdle.

I just checked the phone number for the Shrewsbury branch online and dialled it. I was then informed that the number had changed to a free 0800 number in 2015. So - I payed for a phone call to find a free number to dial. When will the website be updated??

really difficult to review fairly because it really depends on who is working the majority of the staff provide superb service and are very helpful but there are a couple of members of the staff who really let the rest of the branch down with there poor attitude to customer service
