Honestly best fish and chips ever tried. The portion sizes are amazing value for money. The kebab is the best in the area by far. would definitely recommend over other chips around. Staff are lovely and the waiting time is low.

SO disappointed on Friday , usually F&C are so good . We went there specially and waited  until they  opened .
While the service was good , the fish was AWFUL, DRY AND THE BATTER WAS TOUGH, Never encountered tough batter before !! Chips were DRY  Asked for cod, did not taste like cod .
What has happened ? Suspect the fish had been in the freezer too long, possibly the chips as well ! Don’t know what had happened to the batter! so I’m afraid we will not be returning. 
We have 2 award winning chippies near Bramcote so we will be going to one of those or Andys
