Our beautiful Sweetie was very anxious when she arrived at the Sandford Cat Hotel, owing to previous experiences as the kitten of a stray mother. She stayed in her penthouse most of the time, where she felt so comfortable and safe she didn't want to leave! It was so good to receive photos of her while she was there - Hazel and her assistant, Karen, know exactly what cats need to feel safe, loved and entertained. We will always bring Sweetie to Sandford as she also has the opportunity to visit the jungle gym and meet other cats when she's ready. It is just the best place for our best friends to be. It most certainly deserves the 5 stars everyone has given it.
The Sandford Cat Hotel is absolute paradise for cats! My cat Mai is a bit of a timid soul but she loves staying there. Hazel and her staff know exactly what cats thrive on and they help Mai to feel happy and confident. I will always take Mai to The Sandford Cat Hotel and I thoroughly recommend it to others.
It was our first time leaving our kitten with someone else and we couldn’t be more grateful with Hazel, she went beyond our expectations. Hazel took care of our furry baby with such a love and commitment. She kept us posted everyday texting us how he was doing and also sent us photos and video of our kitten which helped us reassure he was in excellent hands. The Sandford Cat Hotel is a place highly recommended, not only for its amenities, rooms with everything a cat needs, gyms, hammocks, tunnels, plenty of playgrounds and an outdoor cage fully fenced and well designed to keep cats safe and entertained with the rest of animals she has in the farm; but also the cleanness of this place and the owner’s professionalism, her kindness and love for animals is something that adds value to any animal staying. Our 12 year old Ragdoll had never been in a cattery and I was so stressed. Well, he had the best time, happy, loved, cared for as if he was home. I couldn’t recommend Hazel and her cattery more highly, she offers a home away from home for our loved cats.
My two kittens 4.5 maths and 5 months stayed at the Sandford Cat Hotel for 8 nights. The facility was beautiful. My cats were provided with rooms with an access door between them. At drop off, being their first stay, I was shown around the facility and was given a very warm welcome. During their stay I was provided with photo and video updates. When I informed them my flight was delayed, staff were very accommodating in ensuring I wasn't stressed out and my cats were able to stay an extra night. My cats were very loved and well looked after. Amazing staff, fantastic communication and what a beautiful facility. Would definitely recommend
5 Stars Thank you to Hazel and her team at The Sandford Cat Hotel, we relocated from QLD to TAS and Hazel made the process so easy. When reconnected with our cat he was settled and content, Hazel and her team take excellent care and love all the cats that stay with them as if they were there own. I highly recommend The Sandford Cat Hotel for all your cats needs while away from home and without hesitation give them a 5-star review.
We took our cat to Sandford Cat hotel during Easter long weekend, even though Hazel was so busy she always kept us updated on how our furkid was doing. We’d like to thank Hazel and Karen for taking good care of Benji, we’re sure he enjoyed this little break at your hotel. See you next time!
Mummy and daddy were very nervous as this is the first time our baby, Simba had been to a cat hotel. Hazel was fantastic very imformative and went above and beyond to welcome and care for Simba. With messages and photos of reasuring us that Simba had setteled and was playing and mixing with other babies settled our nerves.We were more than happy with the accomadaton and care. We would highly recomend the cat hotel at Sandford. Thank you so much, Hazel and husband for taking wonderful care of our baby.
I have just picked my cat up from his third stay here, he loves it! Would highly recommend to anyone, Moe is always so happy when I pick him up. Awesome facility, will continue to use The Sandford Cat Hotel for any trips away. Thank you Hazel & team
I cannot fault Hazel and the team. My gorgeous Sunny is the most chill cat but when I went to collect her she threw an almighty tantrum and clearly didn't want to leave! That sums Cat Hotel up, really. If a cat who barely miaows can turn into a demon when it's time to go home, you know they have had the time of their life!
