For what it is, this is a very good cafe. It's in Black Park, a short walk from the car park, by the lake. Bear in mind this is the main cafe, there is also a San Remo Kiosk right by the car park. The cafe serves coffee, soft drinks, snacks and surprisingly well cooked and tasty meals. Nothing extravagant, burgers, pasta, baked potatoes etc. There's an ice-cream counter too. The only drawback is that there can be long queues at busy times - especially when the weather is nice. Black Park is good for a stroll, a run, bike ride, and there is a childrens play area. Some people ride horses there also.

This is a really good cafe. Welcoming friendly staff and really excellent food. The choice of really good food makes it difficult to know what to order. The hot chocolate is good to. Give it a try you shouldn't be disappointed.

Waited 15 mins in the queue and then told they couldnt serve coffee because they were closing in 5 mins despite the person in front of me being served...and i was looking after 2 babies. Was then moved whilst bottle feeding my 9 month old. Then they wouldnt even let my 3 year old daughter go to the toilet. On other occasions i have had long queues and poor food.  Enjoy the park regularly but never seem to enjoy the cafe

Reasonably priced cafe, friendly staff.  Quality of food could be better. Ideal stop after a walk.
