Brilliant service today at San Marino. We managed to get a lovely table by the bar, overlooking some wonderful views. The food was lovely - very filling, great portions, came out hot and very tasty! The kids meals were just as good according to 3 very happy kids and the desserts were yum!! The staff were really friendly and attentive. Highly recommended - will defo be back!
Always go for a more of a special event. Food is very nice and delicious, freshly cooked and must use high quality ingredients. And the Special Meals is such a good deal it's hard not to order using it. Excellent as well if just going for a drink, especially in the summer with the stunning views. Would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
First visit for our daughter's birthday but certainly won't be our last. We were a group of 7, all orders were different and not one fault with any of the food. Nice atmosphere and decor. A very enjoyable evening

I was really hoping to be able to give 5 stars as I heard great reviews about this place and was super excited to go and try some delicious food. Unfortunately, as nice as some of our dishes were, I was a little disappointed. Meat was a little dry and overall not much flavour. Presentation was however nice and the garlic breads were also really good. The place itself is gorgeous, although lacks a little atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive. Nice but nothing special.
This beautiful bar/restaurant is a must to visit. The place is stunning, atmosphere and staff especially Italian staff brought a great feel to the place. And the food.. oh my! Absolutely spot on and really big portions. £145 for 6 people that included 3 course meal each and drinks Definitely will be going back!
I was so excited to be going to this restaurant. We live in Preston and our friends wanted to try as the menu sounded amazing! We got seated in the downstairs window area and had an amazing view. We ordered and the starters arrived which were very nice so it was a really good start, drinks were super slow throughout which started to get a bit frustrating and I had asked for a napkin or coaster as my drink kept dripping on my dress, this didn't arrive but no big deal. I ordered the steak and lobster, my partner ordered the paella and the couple we were with also ordered steak and steak and lobster. Mains arrived we had ordered some red wine, my friend sat without a fork for what seemed like forever the eventually the waiter brought a fork, still no wine. Half way through our steak, wine arrived but no.glasses, finished the steak and the glasses arrived. I mentioned it to the floor manager and he apologised and said he would take something off the bill. I thought at this stage things would improve so we drank our wine and chatted and waited for the dessert menu.......let's just say this never happened. We got totally forgotten. We asked a waitress for some more drinks which took ages to come and then as she was clearing the next tables plates she dropped them on the floor and the sauce off the plate went all over my partner, the table and the window! Totally the icing on the cake ‍ so by this time I expected the manager or someone to come and help the poor girl and nothing. She cleared up as best as she could but there was sauce all over the floor and our table. At this point I went to find a manager as I was literally worried someone would slip, my partner was in the toilets trying to clean his top! The manager gave us two rounds of free drinks and took 15% off the bill so he did deal with our complaint however even his response wasn't great and for over £200 with the free drinks and the discount really didn't seem like an experience I would want to do again! Service was probably the worst I have ever had which is a shame as the food had so much potential. So disappointing.
Had a fantastic night at San Marino. Excellent food, the chef went above and beyond to create the perfect meal for me. The service was amazing and nothing was too much trouble, we were made to feel special! Would definitely recommend!
Treated parents for birthday and Mother's Day. Starters were great and the staff super helpful. The mains had veg that my parents literally couldn't get their fork in to, they were so undercooked. Replaced however they were just the same. They don't offer a choice of potato like most places, they give you roast potatoes but if you want chips you have to pay extra as a side order, which is quite poor. Lamb chops were all bone, very little meat. The prawn linguine was lovely as was the cod on the specials menu. Won't be visiting again.
Amazing food, great place to have a celebration inside is beautifully designed.Food: 5/5
