I bought a Alexander Rose 5’ Turnberry bench in Roble wood 2 weeks ago from Sam Turners, it has beautiful smooth finish, I have given it 2 coats of treatment protector. It was supplied with free cushion and cover, both in dark green, I was surprised by the quality of them, will definitely use this company again
Delivery: Product was good, packaging was good, delivery was fast, but the fit wasn't right so I needed to return. This company charges 4.99 for returns free if you return to the store but they only have one store in North Yorkshire. There is plenty of competition that do free returns, so despite the otherwise good service I won't be using this company again.
Bought some Hunter wellingtons last year on line that developed a fault, contact customer services who very quickly arranged a refund. Super quick in response to my initial email and refunded promptly…. Great service and will have no hesitation in ordering online again .
Wow what a contrast between the returns policy of two companies today… one major national high street retailer simply refused any sort of refund or credit note for a number of pairs of shoes I had bought but failed to return within their 28day returns window, and the other was Sam Turners who, without any argument or question happily refunded me on an item which was clearly sealed and unopened but which I had bought several months back and forgot to return when I realised I didn’t need it. Well done Sam Turner and Sons… your approach to customer care and generally your staff’s attitude to service is outstanding!
I recently bought a chainsaw and protective trousers, helmet and gloves. Everything arrived promptly and all in great order. Not having a great deal of experience with chainsaw, I have had several issues. The speed they have got back to me and Jack, managed to diagnose and help me rectify the issues remotely and go over and above what would be expected is unreal. Could not be happier and cannot recommend them enough. I Just hope I need more stuff that I can order from them.
Faultless service & Very competitive pricing. Decided to treat myself to a chainsaw as inherited log burner in new abode. Was drawn to Sam Turner as he was offering a Stihl chain sharpener thrown in for free. I incorrectly ordered just the power unit minus chain, bar etc! A quick call and the missing items were sent & delivered next day at cost! Amazing customer care. Highly Recommended.

Called up on friday as needed a leaf blower soon as possible but the soonest it could get delivered to me was Monday/ Tuesday. Saturday came and it was here not even 24 hours later. The guy was really helpfull and said he will see what he could do to get it to me before monday. Within 15 minutes i had a email to say shipment was on its way. Was also £230 cheaper here than what it was at my local garden shop. 100% will be ordering my tools from here. I also recommend anyone needing tools to buy with confidence. GREAT COMPANY! Bought a small Stihl chainsaw online earlier this year, then rang last week for help ordering 2-in-1 sharpener and spare chain. Service on both occasions was excellent, but in particular the help I received over the phone was kind, patient and friendly, and above all not at all condescending or patronising. Very much appreciated, thank you. Delivery was incredibly fast too. Definitely a company I would return to.
