Having never set foot in a laundrette before, the gentleman was extremely helpful in assisting with my rather large and varied load of washing. He was able to guide me through the washing and drying of a feather down mattress topper - which I had zero knowledge on and it transpired that it needed constant attention when drying. He also dealt with a large number of customers during the time I was at the laundrette and seemingly gave all a great level of service. I would not hesitate in going back and utilising his services again. Thank you!
Went today for first time. It's small, but very friendly and extremely clean. By far the best laundrette I have ever used in London.
A very convenient laundromat in Shoreditch, with old school machines that get the job done perfectly. Martin the worker was great in helping out with change and everything I needed, a very kind man. Definitely recommended!
Lynsey was incredible! I’m an American visiting for the first time and I’m so lucky to have found her. I left something in the pocket of my jeans and when I dried them it left stains on a few of my shirts. Lynsey went above and beyond to treat the stains and help me rectify my mistake. She went and bought Vanish and took more time out of her day than she should have. The best experience and the best launderers around with 23 years of experience. I will definitely be back before my trip is up. Thank you so much Lynsey you are truly the best!
Wonderful service! I was on holiday and the owner walked me through using the machines and was just lovely to me. Had a chai across the street while my clothes washed. Great experience- highly recommend!
Just popped in for a quick wash as my washing machine at home has broken. All done in under an hour including drying. Great machines, super friendly team, Matthew especially, will 100% return. I own an airbnb, so might offer laundry service
Great little self service laundry shop. An assistant was onsite to help with change, questions, and any issues that came up. Wash cycle was 30 minutes and dryer cycle took about 20 minutes.
Very kind business- helped me with change and detergent and showed me how to use the machines. Even recommended the type of wash and for how long based on my washing type! Would return without hesitation.

I am on a work trip from New York and needed some laundry done. After googling, I found this fabulous establishment! Martin, the Owner has been there for 25 years, he was so friendly and welcoming and I am sure has some stories to tell. This is also one of the cleanest laundrettes I have ever been in. I would practically eat my dinner of the floor, SERIOUSLY! The machines did a great job, I used both the washer and dryer. I also purchased washing powder for 60p, Martin showed me how to use the machines and it was all very efficient. I will return before I go back to NYC, even if its just for a chat and a photo of this beautifully "Old London Laundrette"
