Very disappointed with this salon. I won't recommend this to anyone. I took an appointment for my son at 4:20 yesterday. Up on arrival I told them, he got a Lesson at 5 and we are in a hurry. We waited for 10 min and one of the staff become free at 4:30 and started playing with her phone. I approached her weather she would be able to cut my son's hair as we were in a hurry. She said, she got another appointment within 5 min and carry on Playing with the phone. Eventually another staff become free at 4:40 and told me she is going to take 20 min to cut the hair. I had no choice but leave the salon and take him for his lessons. No other customers came to the salon till we left this place. Absolute waste of time. Even though this is the closest salon to my house, I'm not going to take my son here again.

I have always had a fantastic experience with Salon Excel. I have used 2 or 3 different stylists and all have been very good. Abby tends to do me now, she is just lovely. Genuinely nice to talk to but also will let the silence roll on I'd you don't feel like chatting. She is a very skilled Hairdresser 💇

If you don't mind playing second fiddle to 2 small children being supervised and the stylist also answering the phone then this is the place for you.
Two visits running "I'm trying to grow it" was ignored as my hair got chopped !  
Sorry, I was hoping the stylist would at least be interested.

I have been going to this beautiful salon for over 8 years and the experience is always wonderful: a very lovely, friendly and professional team, nothing is too much trouble and I always leave the place feeling relaxed and loving my hair! Couldn't be better! I can only assume the negative review was about a different salon because the owner of Salon Excel and all her staff are fantastic and couldn't be nicer or more helpful!
