Easy access to Disabled parking places off Scott Road however the signage by Salford Council was very ambiguous. I asked several passers-by if I needed to pay, each read the signage and we still didn't know! After taking my disabled mum in her wheelchair to her appointment I walked quite a distance to the main building and asked at the Car Park hatch if i needed to pay, I was told that the paystations in that area haven't worked for about 5 years so don't worry about it. Not ideal! Extremely poor signage by Salford Council. Excellent medical service.
Depending on the time you arrive, could be good or bad. Busy time means it could be half an hour before you can get on to the car park. Scott Lane Car Park is no use for disabled people going to out patients. To long a walk. Not enough disability parking places
Once you are in and found a parking place it's fine. The frustrating part is having to set off for your appointment an hour earlier than your appointment time so you can queue up often beginning on Eccles New Road, it can take 30 minutes just to get onto hospital grounds than the queue for the actual carpark begins.
Never thought id review a carpark, but there you go.nSpot on car park.nHave to use disabled spots and can always get one amd its qick as to find any spot.nOnly issue is the getting in.nThe traffic lights to get in are not at all thought out.
Central car park barriers are quite often not lifting and a long queue will form but when you get in, there's plenty of spaces. At peak times it should be manually controlled by staff who can see availability in the car park
