This carpark is an utter shambles and so are the security that pretend to run it. They are risking people's life over profit. Reported to the police and fire services and will be following up with letters to the council and ceo of the lowery. I will ensure I am heard. Stook on the 6th floor for over 45 min. Lied to when rang security 4 times to question what was going on. Told the barriers where open and allowed cars to leave pictures say otherwise. They also lied to the police as police called me back and said barriers where open. Lowery carpark your stuff are putting people's like at risk and someone needs to be held accountable. They are rude bad mannered and this behaviour must be stop. I will also be writing to the council and fire crews and will not stop or rear until formal measures are put in place to protect people over profits.
All the disabled spaces were full, but the worst problem was a lack of signage in the carpark showing the quickest way to the Lowry Theatre. After finding somewhere to park, the last thing we wanted was a long walk with a walking frame. We exited the car park into the shopping centre, which was also sadly lacking in signage for the Lowry Theatre. Signage about how to pay for parking would also be very helpful.
Decent car park with plenty of spaces available. Not many payment stations though and only on lower levels. Can pay by an app but a bit of a faff if you haven’t already downloaded it.
Amble parking spaces and as this is not an eventful weekday so everything is smooth apart from the outward machine doesn't accept my paid ticket, lol. Parking price is reasonable, £4.4 for 4 hours. No queue in the paying machine may be because of a week day.
Expensive parking at £1.10 an hour up-to £22 for 24 hours but usually lots of spaces due to lack of shopping facilities now. There is 4 hours free if you go to the Cinema but not if you go to the Theatres!
