I have been going to Saks salon in Chester le Street for around twenty years and I can’t recommend them enough. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The environment is relaxing and all of the salon staff take care of you during the appointment. Over the years I have had a number of stylists who have always listened to what I want for my hair. Best Girls in the Business! I cannot recommend Saks CLS ENOUGH!! Professional, knowledgeable but also they are welcoming, friendly......Literally just the best. Nothing is a problem for them. The salon is always clean and the range of products they have are brilliant. Never a bad cut or colour at this place. I honestly couldn't recommend enough. I have been visiting this Salon from the week it opened over 20 years ago and I won't go anywhere else.  They are utterly amazing at what they do and I have never left a visit unhappy. I’ve been attending this salon for ~5 years now and cannot recommend them enough. I get a full head of blonde highlights by Becky and every time she does such an amazing job and listens to what I like/want. I first came to the salon after a bad colouring at another salon and since then I’ve managed to achieve my desired colour all whilst keeping my hair healthy and strong because of their products and care. My most recent visit was February 2022 where I had a restyle from really long hair, layers cut and a grown out fringe reshaped into my hair. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted - I get so many compliments on my hair and it’s all down to Becky and the salon! The prices are also reasonable for the results you get, and they’re always happy to honour student discount. I moved 1.5 hours away from the area and still commute back for my hair appointments because I’ll never find a better place. Could not recommend more!!

After previous bad experiences in the past with different hair salons, I made an appointment with Sak’s with some reservation.  This reservation was instantly relieved upon arrival. I was treated with friendliness and made to feel welcome.  I was given excellent advice from the stylist and I now feel I have found the right salon to look after my “mind of its own” hair.
