terrible. made an appointment and when arrived I was seen to a stylist who cut my hair to do "strength test"... by cutting my hair all around my head leaving shocking results when I left, they advised they'd contact me within 2 days if my hair was strong enough to dye, I did not get any response since and that was over 3 months ago. not only have they taken thick strands of my hair from all parts of my head they didn't even respond back to me in regards to the result, for someone who has worked in a hair salon previously a "hair strength test" should be taken from behind the ear or unnoticed area and cut appropriate amount. wont be visiting again.

Friendly staff. Amazing decor. Good service. Expensive prices. Worth treating yourself every now and then though. Nevertheless, if their prices were like other beauty salons, I’d be a more frequent customer.

Only had eye brows tidied up. Woman who did it was really friendly and professional, however, the girl on reception needs some customer service training. She didn't say please when asking for my £19 and didn't say thank you or even look at me. My family had sat and waited patiently and she never looked at them or acknowledged their presence. The woman who had done my brows was asking her about any deals for new customers, her response was minimal and unhelpful. She didn't say goodbye as we left. Poor poor service from one person. The place is very nice inside and I was tempted to rebook for my hair and a massage but won't be now. If I'm paying those prices I expect excellent service from all staff.

Very friendly staff, the woman who looked after me during my appointment was lovely and chatty,and the guy who did my hair was also very friendly. I am very happy with the cut but not with the colour. I can't see a big difference to what it was before, it was definiately not worth £160!

Hair stylists and colouring itself fantastic, other areas might need improving. I went to HOS when I couldn't get booked in at my usual hairdressers (who are probably the top rated hairdresser in the area). I was given an introductory client discount which was great, and to be honest the offer was much needed considering without it it would have been £140 for a balayage and cut, which seems a bit extortionate really. Hair was coloured by Rebecca who is lovely and knows her stuff. She spent the time on my hair blow drying it carefully, listening to me properly during colour consultation and not rushing me through which was refreshing. This was supplemented by advice from Tom who seems to be an expert colourist. All in all the experience while there was great (so much so that I actually left them a comment on Instagram thanking Rebecca for being so great), although I would say the receptionist(s) need to improve their front of house manner (they need to be less intimidating and a bit friendlier). Months later I thought about revisiting at full price but couldn't remember how much it was (now as an existing customer). Getting information over the phone was like pulling teeth. The girl I spoke to on the phone sounded so unenthusiastic/bored and like the last thing she wanted to do was answer any of my questions (which - I don't feel is really that much to ask for when they're asking you to cough up £140!). On the same call (before getting an indicative price) I enquired as to whether there were any appointments on the day, but decided to leave it when told the full price. I then got a phone call hours later asking why I hadn't shown up for my appointment. When calling back to enquire what was going on, I was told unapologetically that there must have been a mistake. I will probably go back at some point if there are other offers on because the hairdressing is second to none and I LOVED my colour, but the prices and the manner of the receptionist(s) leave something to be desired.
