Interesting reviews! Curious to see how some people see this as a scam – yes, the staff utilise clever sales techniques, but this is common in numerous other stores. It is easy enough to say no! Out of curiosity, my daughter and I decided to go into the Neal Street store – yes, we were offered samples and yes, we were offered the ‘hand spa scrub’ and yes, the member of staff explained about special offers. However, there was NO hard pressure to purchase! It was we who actually, negotiated an even better deal and in fact, we are very pleased with the items we did buy, and we bought them purely on the basis that it was our decision to purchase them! The quality of the products are extremely comparable to other similar brands.
Horrible scam. They force you to buy “premium” products and when you refuse, they make 10%, then 20%, and so on discounts. If it’s easy to sell you anything, they’ll make a small one. If you say the quality is bad and refuse to buy, they make 80% “special” stuff discounts! So you can imagine the quality of products there. They try to talk to you a lot and understand how much money you can give them. Quality of their stuff is very bad too, a few of my friends developed rashes so we will officially report it.
I had the misfortune to walk past this place when i wasn't in a hurry so got talked into going in. I was offered these 'amazing' products by Sakaré who I'd never heard of!. Anyway, they're so amazing that one is 45 pounds, but buy 2 and you get the 3rd one free. But i don't want 3. Ok, they say, you can have 2 for 50 quid. Oh and try this and this and now let me try this undereye cream for 335 pounds. You can have it for just 125 euros with her special staff discount. I said I would need to think about it and took a photo of it to read reviews after. I paid 75 pounds for my "bargains". I got a bit suspicious when the bag was stapled together as if it was being hidden. Got outside and Googled and found out the products in my bag weren't sakare after all but Premier although what is Sakaré? Do you only get the Sakaré products if you pay full price?. It's all smoke and mirrors, the Emperor's New Clothes or even Keyser Söze! Back to the shop expecting to have to kick off but they refunded immediately and quickly, not even asking why. I guess they didn't want to make a fuss in case i kicked off in front of the other customers being scammed with the same patter. A disgrace. In fact i'm so annoyed I'm reporting it as a breach of the Trade Description Act. On returning to the shop, i did notice the Premier products are nestled in between the Sakaré ones which I suppose covers their backs. But what is Sakaré anyway?! If we have to believe these scammers that it's any good, I'm not so sure anyway!
‼‼SCAM ‼‼ Was walking past the store to be given a free sample. Was then persuaded into the shop with my partner, who then had a variety of skincare on our hands to persuade to purchase. We declined as we were not interested in paying an extortionate price for a few skincare products. After declining a few times, he then asked how much we spent on the contents in our shopping bag rude and none of his business. We said it was gifts for people and it wasn’t a concern. After declining the final offer he said to get out of his shop and have a good day. Trying to seem nice but very rude.
I can totally say is scams They trick people to buy products. They show you prices, then they trick you with discounts and make you end up buying to many products. I try the products at home after tree months nothing changed all they were saying and everything I tried there, was not same thing they sold me. I was in berlin shopping center They were giving samples and they gave me one. I wanted to leave, they told me if I want to try the nail kits so I did because I needed it. it was good I said ok I will buy it. Then they showed me other products and I needed some of them. after I try them I also bought them. the shopper told me lots of things about the products .now I use them for around 3 months nothing changed my skin is the same and my face even Got more acne and other things that suppose to get better it didn't. Not only I wasted my money I also wasted my time using those products. And I didn't realize that , none of the products were from the original brand till I get home and I opened them. I was so happy to find a good product that I could use for long time I even got the website ,so that later I can buy more.
Visited the New Bond Street store - foolishly went inside was told the nail box was buy one for £45 get one free so I agreed as my daughter works for nhs and complains about the damage to her nails and i thought okay £22 .50 for each box as christmas presents is ok. Unfortunately I have sight problem so couldn't see the amount on the card machine but as I had been told £45 I trusted them . More fool me - when got home was visiting London for day , live 125 miles away looked in bag 2 boxes but receipt said 3 and a charge of £90 . Contacted then straight away . They deny the offer was buy one get one free cost £45 but buy 2 get one free cost £90. They are sending me the missing 3rd box but I honestly wish I had never been that nice person who stops when offered something outside a shop. This nail stuff had better be amazing.
If I could give 0* then I would! A shop keeper lured us in for a “free sample”. He asked me and my girlfriend where we come from, clearly looking at our bags too to see that we have money and are tourists too. We had the sample and it was very average. Didn’t do much. He then brought us to the price list and was going to give us a “deal” however it was severe manipulation. £350! For 4 products. Said he would let us have them for £190. Absolutely scum! If the products were that good then fortnum & mason, harrods or selfridges. Rip off products. The man was very very guilt trippy, made the conversation on edge and tried to make you feel bad for leaving empty handed. The couple next to us were counting their cash to get scammed by the shop keeper and I felt so bad. They were manipulated. Anyway the guy tried to keep offering us a better and better deal. Everyone getting lower and lower and removing products. In the end the lowest was £35 for a small bottle of this liquid. I said I can’t afford it and then the guy said “how much have you spent today” and pointed at our bags. Yes we have spent several hundred but my wealth or spending is none of his concern. Disgusting! And my girlfriend said it was her birthday as well and the man tried to make me feel bad for not buying her the bottle of skin care liquid. You do not speak to people like that. Is disgusting and rude. Generally an awful experience. Another 1* to add to the list for this shop. Do not enter and do not make eye contact or even walk close by. Avoid at all costs! And from what others are saying, “scam” “stolen purse”, my story makes a lot of sense. Happy shopping folks
Shocking place, total scam! Charging inflated prices so they can knock them down for a "special discount" Stop you in the street and won't take no for an answer, incredibly rude and pushy. To top it all they make the sample products better than the stuff you actually buy - the body scrub the sales lady forced on us had added oil to make your hands feel softer - the stuff we bought was drier than the Sahara desert! As many other reviews have said, the products aren't even their own and can be found much cheaper elsewhere. This shop has strengthened my resolve to never accept any sample from any sales person on the street ever. It's a shame this shop isn't more well known as being one of the biggest scams on Bond Street. Everyone who buys from here deserves reimbursement.
I am so happy that I discovered this brand! It does wonders to my skin! Whoever said that the same effective products can be found in boots but cheaper is a lier! Salare is with every penny you pay. Also the service they provide in the shop was top level.
We found ourselves outside the store on a rainy day desperate looking for a taxi, the salesperson approached us and persuade us to try the free sample scrap and then tried to sell the product on a crazy high price, when he realized i am no interested he was super rude one of the things he said was “ did you look yourself jn the mirror? “ and continue with other insults until we left
