Always clean and staff are very helpful, but go early, if you want a newspaper has, they seem to run out pretty quick overall ,you can get a an milk etc
friendly, competent staff in tiny shoplet mostly car+driving-related stuff, and in-car snacks, etc., reasonably enough to take your ££ - and usually the lowest prices per litre in the lancaster & morecambe area - or, the equal-lowest. _fairly_ near the large sainsbury's on the same road, but not next to it. can be a bit of a pain turning right off the road into it during rush half-hour, weekdays, but someone'll usually let you across.
Huge windows mean it's light and airy. Plenty of parking including enough parent and child spaces. Nice cafe and good range of homewear and clothes. Sadly this year they have reduced the range of food items available.
Think most staff have been trained to not use manners/act as though you're a nobody. Mentioned 3 times to store management team. Two of the staff are friendly though
Very poor layout since the refurbishment, lots of product's no longer available. What over paid designer decided that anyone needing to collect a prescription should be forced to walk to the far corner of the store and that frozen products should go in the middle of the store, I for one prefer to get frozen products at the end of my shop, that way it stays frozen while I get it home!
Very disappointed with the attitude of the 2 pharmacy staff.We are told these days to ask advice from the pharmacist if we do not feel the need to see a doctor.I tried to do this today and to be honest they could not be less helpful.The assistant took a list of my medication to the pharmcist who nodded her head to indicate that there wouldn't be any contra-indications with an over the counter Iron suppliment I was questioning.That was it!! End of conversation.....Thank you very much
The prices are high, but the quality is even higher! Fresh vegetables, perfect meat, and their bakery is awesome! Definitely a place to shop if you have a bigger budget, or for the weekend!
I went all the way to Sainsbury's in Morecambe this morning as I was desperate for something. I checked on line and it said Sunday 8am opening. This was at 8.30am. Guess what? it was shut. There were two other cars pulling up, who like myself was very annoyed. Get your details updated Sainsbury's!!!!! People have better things to do with their time
Cheap and cheerful petrol prices in comparison to Shell or BP, and I've never seen it with long queues. If in the area and needing fuel, this is a cheap and quick place to go.
Used to be an enjoyable shopping trip with plenty of own products and other choices. That has changed for the worst since you altered the store. Bigger store equals less choice. No where near as good as it was shame.
