Amazing service here tonight from the 2 girls. Nothing out of the ordinary happened I was just really impressed with their customer service and friendly demeanour. Thank you - guy at pump 12 who didn't know how to use the nectar card. : amazing :
Just voted the most expensive in the entire UK. Costs £8 a tank average more here than some other places in the UK.
They've added 'Pay at the Pump' recently, based on other reviews, and you can choose how much you want to spend before you start dispensing and it cuts the flow automatically when you reach that amount. Which makes things nice and easy if you don't want to fill your tank. Plus, looking at my bank account unlike some other petrol stations, they didn't put a hold on any of the money in my account just checked the available balance and then the actual amount was registered on my account within minutes. I've seen some petrol stations put a hold on £100 and then take quite a while days for the actual amount to be taken out instead. I didn't go into the shop, so I can't comment on that
The most pathetic set of staff members I have ever met,nCame in to fill my 3 cans up with fuel and was told I couldn't, when I asked why she just said because she said so and turned her back to me, after putting a can away I filled the other 2 and went to pay, they didn't say a word to me and swore infront of me and told me not to ever come again, I have worked in customer service all my life and have never seen such a pair of rude people in my life and is completely unacceptable for the amount of times I come in and spend hundreds a month filling my car, pathetic excuse for customer service I have ever met.
Good petrol station, normally one of the cheapest in the area. Asda's Petrol Station on the other side of town is normally a similar price, although perhaps slightly cheaper.nnPay at pump is convenient and there is a small shop with essentials. The staff are normally fairly friendly.nnOne slight moan - in the last year or so, the petrol sign seems to spend more time turned off than on, so you only know the prices when you actually get the the pumps, which can make comparing more difficult.nnIt's also quite often the case that it starts closing a good 15-20 mins before the stated closing time which again is a little frustrating if you turn up trying to get fuel and find it already closed.
