Every time I use self service in store I'm left waiting ages to he authorised. It would be fine if staff were busy, but they just stand there talking ignoring customers. I've worked in retail and understand customers can be demanding, but asking staff to do the basics if their job is not asking much but is apparently too much to ask of *some* staff in this store.
Very busy car park here as it offers approx 90 mins free parking, easy access to store. I Love shopping here. Toilets in store but no cafe. No petrol station here, limited products, no clothing section and no Argos in store no Timpson key cutting, there is a Coin Star money counter in the foyer.
The Brighouse Sainsbury is a mid sized store with stock limited to shelves rather than individual departments as in the case of the Sainsbury at Southgate Huddersfield. So there is no petrol station or pharmacy. There is a small Argos housed in one corner and a Sainsbury ATM outside. Nevertheless its good for picking up a few days worth of groceries.
Evening visit whilst a long way from home. Bright and airy with well stocked shelves but not many varieties of loose apples, plenty of prepacked versions though. Update Nov 2024: nothing notable has changed
I have just been in to Sainsbury's brighouse to get some shopping, of the 4 human tills available, none of them were staffednnI left my basket of 20 items at the self service checkout and walked out, I will be reluctant to return againnnNot everybody wants to use self service, stop forcing it upon us
