Excellent, we have now decided to do our weekly shop here, instead of Tesco's
I haven't been here for several years. I enjoyed myself. It was Sunday morning, not busy, so no hassle. An excellent range of products, so I shall return. We found a manned check out, which was another bonus.
Use the restaurant bit everyday nearly, always good, food great and staff are really nice. Always have a bit of banter with them, makes everyones day seem a bit brighter even if its just for a few minutes
Do not use Timpson shoe repairs on this site, incredibly rude, and that was the manager. I had 2 pairs of shoes repaired at great expense, 2 weeks later the heel repair fell off, I took it to them and they told me it would cost £20 to fix it without a receipt. This is ridiculous , I was trained as a cobbler in my younger days and have never experienced such rudeness when dealing with a customer, it would of taken 10 minutes to correct their shoddy workmanship, the manger even admitted that they had not done the repair properly. Left an extremely sour taste in my mouth, this is not the first time I experienced bad customer relations with this company, highly recommend taking your business else where. Sainsbury’s should be managing companies that operate on their retail sites. DISGRACEFUL…!
You can always rely on Sainsbury's to have a good selection of more unusual foods that other supermarkets don't stock. Great deals with nectar card discounts. Friendly, helpful staff
Smallish as supermarkets goes these days yet helpful staff. The tills are undermanned here though and they want you to use to self checkouts so theres ALWAYS a que for the 1-2 tills open.
Really gone downhill, seriously destocked gluten free product, obviousy exploited Heinz market weakness whole sale process. Price / monopolies commission enquiry urgently needed on the control extted by super markets exercise over cost and availability of alergy related food products. Even their staff agree!!!
Fresh Kitchen is a pathetic offering in this and other locations. An explanation for a lack of pepper was worse than pathetic. It was actually incredible. There were two substitutions in the so-called Christmas lunch. The coffee machine was not working. An engineer had been called. This, apparently, is one of the most common phrases in the English language. It is also, like 'Highway Maintenance', devalued to the point of meaningless.
A very busy place at all times. Good product choices, although shelves can be quite empty. Could be the weather, supply issues, or staff shortages, but normally I'm able to get most of what I want.
Today 29th March 2023 very busy at checkouts only two open, took a long time to open the third remaining checkout we enquired to get that open and a Security guard was very rude to mum, just thinking of other customers.
