Nice little store with all the usual grocery aisles. Shelves were well stocked too. Staff at the store were really friendly.nOnly frustration was the car park which seemed a good walk away from the store and no real safe pathways to get back to your car with a trolley easily especially if you're with kids.
Good stock levels , prices like most supermarkets are inflated .nManned checkouts are stillnPrevalent in this store , along with selfnScan checkouts .nToilets are clean and well maintained .nStaff always friendly and helpful- nothing is ever too much trouble .
There ideally located in this area, serving a large residential area. There are other shops and a gym near by. They have petrol station and they have other products on sale when you enter the shop or when doing it online. There is about 4 aisle with a range of products for you to chose from, in-line the season or latest offers. There is a self service machine here but you have to join the line in order to pay. There is also a security guard on site as they have to protect staff, customers and products.
Whether you are in lands end or John o grouts a Sainsbury's is a Sainsbury's the layout is similar the technology the same the services offered are similar. What is different is the welcome and the service, we were in Alnwick and the staffs friendliness is abundant, not sure if that is not just a Geordie thing as the welcome is apparent all over Northumberland. I quickly found what I want with help and used the self scan tills for speed, this is the only voice that is not a Geordie. So in summary, in, got stuff, out without issue, thank you.nAlso great parking
Amazing products, but Alnwick service standards...in other words use self checkout and leave immediately.
